Ball & Socket (53 parts)
The larger 'ball' and smaller 'towball' joints can be used to attach parts at any angle while also allowing them to rotate.
These parts are especially useful for building organic forms, since they can be posed in a wide range of positions.
I have heard from several LEGO Masters contestants that the smaller towball parts often ran out in the brick pit.
