Bricks that are taller than a standard LEGO brick.
There is some debate in the LEGO community about whether these parts are strictly necessary since you can build them by stacking regular LEGO Bricks. That said, they are very popular in sets (especially sets aimed at younger builders), and they make it a lot easier to build large models.
