Ball Joint (7 parts)

A larger ball and socket that is significantly stronger than a towball Joint.

The ball connection was introduced in the 2011 Hero Factory series, which preceded Bionicle which became the most popular posable figure product line in The LEGO Group's history. Posable figures relying on this connection are also referred to as CCBS for "Character and Creature Building System".

The large ball is sometimes referred to as the 'Voodoo Ball' which is the official name used by The LEGO Group for Technic Ball Joint (part 32474). That's because the part was created while they were designing the first Bionicle sets, which went under the codename 'Bone-Heads of Voodoo Island'.
