1×4 Bracket w/ 1×2 Plate (Part 28802)

1987-2024

"Bracketed elements, allowing sideways building, were introduced by LEGO Space in 1979. A challenge with them is that they can quickly throw construction 'off grid,' because LEGO elements are not perfect cubes. [This part] was the first of a new style that featured a thinner vertical section, which helps keep construction within the LEGO grid in many situations. There are now more than a dozen different LEGO brackets using this style."¹
