#FillTheGap LEGO Architecture building competition
Build a LEGO architecture creation to fill a void in your city, and you could win in the “fill the gap” contest sponsored by LEGO.
The LEGO Architecture page at Facebook has kicked off a contest challenging LEGO Enthusiasts to enhance the real world by building small-scale LEGO “improvements” to their home or city. Participants build a LEGO model and take a photo holding the improvement in front of a real building. Photos should be shared on Facebook or Instagram with the #FillTheGap hashtag.
Detailed instructions from their website:
Here is what you have to do:
1. Find an empty space in the town or city where you live and fill it with creative ideas created from LEGO bricks in white and/or transparent. It could be a house, a bridge, a concert hall, a school or even a space-age skate-park!
2. Shoot a picture and share it with us here on Facebook or Instragram with#FillTheGap. A special panel of judges will select the most interesting creation every month.
The prizes every month are: 1) The novelties in 2015 shipped directly to the winner when released, 2) 21050 LEGO Architecture Studio and 3) the book “LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide”.
A winner will be selected each month by members of the architect studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). (January 15 – February 8. February 9 – March 8. March 12 – April 12.) Detailed rules, terms and conditions at https://www.facebook.com/LEGO/app_588696104586297
